San Antonio Has A New Hotspot
All My Sons of Austin is always trying to bring you the latest news and the things that are going around in Texas. The latest the local Austin movers found is all about great food. So, dig in and enjoy the details. According to MSN, Osteria II Sogno in San Antonio, Texas, is one of the new Top 10 restaurants in the U.S. It’s located at 200 E. Grayson Street. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here but no reservations are taken. Chef Andrew Weissman’s (who also owns Le Reve) menu includes a gamut of delicious dishes for the foodie in all of us. From octopus plus potato salad and puree of peas and mint to pappardelle with wild boar ragout and rabbit cooked in red wine to freshly baked foccacias and lasagna ai funghi, pigeon and more. Even the presentation is different in this fine establishment. The artisanal pizza is served unsliced with a blackish char right out of a 6,500 lbs oven built especially for Osteria II Sogno, the risotto is prepared with black squid ink, amongst other differences. There’s a large list of red Italian wines and amazing desserts too. Imagine Piedmontese flan flavored with cacao and amaretti, cheese selections and so much more. Breakfast favorites include a European menu of muslix with housemade yogurt, coddled eggs, breakfast paninis, mixed pastries and espresso of course. Chef Weissman is a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.

Don’t Forget About The First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit
All My Sons of Austin has mentioned the First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit of up to $8,000 before but we just want to remind people that it’s extended until April 30, 2010. This legislation was passed by Congress in order to stimulate the U.S. housing market. So if you’re in the market to buy a home, you should take advantage. To qualify as a ‘first-time homebuyer’, you can’t have owned a residence in the past. The house you’d potentially want to buy can represent all types of homes, single-family homes, condos, townhouses and co-ops. The buyer’s credit amount will be determined based on the price of the home and the buyer’s income. Under this legislation, the credit may only be awarded on homes that are bought for less than $800,000. So as long as you have a written biding contract to purchase a property by April 30,2010, you’ll have until July 1, 2010 to actually close. If you find a dream home in the Austin area, don’t forget your professional movers, the Austin local movers to do the move for you. All My Sons of Austin is licensed and insured and has a great reputation when it comes to moving services.

Great Job From All My Sons of Houston
Our friends, the local Houston movers, just recently completed a move for the Shriners Hospital of Galveston. Shriners had a massive renovation and improvement project after the damages left by Hurricane Ike. The hospital had to close down for a little over a year. Our friendly Houston movers were contacted in October of last year to move and store items for the Shriners Family Center which houses families while their kids are being treated at the Shriners Burn Center. So just recently, the All My Sons of Houston moving company unloaded the 16 vaults of furniture out their warehouse and delivered everything back to the Shriners Family Center. The president of All My Sons of Houston was quoted saying “Shriners is a staple in the community. Our team took great pride in performing such a move.”
