6. Clean up your new home before you set up your furniture, clothing, pantry food and the rest of your belongings
7. When you finally move in to your new place, take your time to fix it up. You don’t have to unload everything that same day. Take the time to figure out where you want everything to go and enjoy the process.
8. It’s important to talk to your kids if you have any about the move. Ask them if they have any questions about their new neighborhood and figure out if they are comfortable. Open the line of communication.
9. Get familiar with your new neighborhood. Find out where the local supermarket is, the movie theater, the library, restaurants, parks and other places you’d like to hangout in.
10. After the move is behind you and your place is decorated just the way you like it, have a house warming party. Have all your friends and family there and have a great time.
